Dont throw away your fax cone

Few days ago my friend (Ani) gave me unused fax cone from our office. She said," Thata I think you can make something with them". Hi..hi...hi...
I look at them ( 12 fax cone ). Wow it's so tough and ... I have an idea. Make a bag handle with it. Just cover it with crocheting or knitting (I-cord), fix to your bag with tapestry needle and thread. Yuhuuu you'll have a new bag handle.
Easy isn't it?? I still wrap them with crocheting, knitting and small rope. Just play with imagination. I know you can create with your imagination too.
Cheapest bag handle I think :D

Make a pin with paper clip

This idea sprang out when I make a small knitting project and need a small pin for hold my thread. I want something lightly. All of my pin are big and they're too heavy for my project.

So again and again paper clip has a way out for me :D

Look at my picture instruction from step 1 till 5 and see the finish pin. Easy to make, simple.. and usefull too.

Hope it could help you too.. Happy knitting !

Make an I-cord with cone

All of us have a cone. I have used as a base for pine tree before, and now i try to use it as a spool.
You can make an i-cord with it. If you have a medium cone you can make 6 sts i-cord, but if you have a small one you can make 4 sts i-cord.
Material :
Cone
6 nails
hammer
Instruction :
Give a mark to 6 place in the top of your cone.
Take a nail and hammering it at each mark that you have made before.
After this you make a co first ( chain ). Put it in your first nail. Than roll the yarn through all nails twice. Pull out the first roll through the second one. Repeat it around till the length depend on what you need.
Hope it can be useful for you :)

Left Over Jar

What do you think?? Like candy yarn. Isn't it ??
I have some unused jar from candy, chocolate and cherry.
I always have a problem when I need some combination colour for my project. I must open my container or plastic bag one by one to see the colours. It's waste of time :)
The idea sprang out when I saw these things in my kitchen.. I think it'll be great if I place my left over thread ( for combination colour ) in these jar. I can look clearly the colours in it and choose one. I havent manage these things. Maybe better if I put one tone colour of my left over in one jar. It'll be easier.
Hope it'll be useful for you too...
